Kids Celebrate: Year of Mark, Cycle B

Kids Celebrate is an annual reproducible volume containing dated worship bulletins that engage children in the weekly gathering of God's people rather than distracting them from it. Activities, prayers, and suggestions for intergenerational interaction highlight the symbols, seasons, and stories of the church year following the texts in the Revised Common Lectionary. Kids Celebrate is geared toward lower elementary age users, with elements useable by pre-readers and other elementary children. Children's bulletins engage children in the weekly gathering of God's people.

Reproducible worship bulletins for every Sunday and festival of the church year. Linked closely with the gospel readings in the Revised Common Lectionary, these bulletins help children connect to the liturgy and the Word. Designed for lower elementary-age children, the wide range of activities on each bulletin includes items appealing to pre-K and upper elementary-age kids as well.

We made Kids Celebrate undated, so this volume can be saved and re-used every lectionary year! A calendar chart is included so you can be sure to use the right bulletin for every date through 2012. No need to buy a new volume every year. Secondly, we've now included a CD-ROM with electronic versions of every bulletin in the volume. Lose a master copy? Copy machine eat it? No problem — just print a new master from the CD-ROM and you're back in business.

Each bulletin provides children with aids to understanding and participating in worship, as well as making connections with the stories and messages of the lectionary readings. Every week has a selection of puzzles, word finds, mazes, worship aids, interaction ideas…keeping them engaged in the worship around them. Your kids won't be quiet in church — they'll be learning, experiencing, and loving every second of it!
