Organ Tunes from the British Isles

British sources were explored by Powell in compiling this useful collection with partitas and improvisations on ecumenical tunes. Powell carefully matches hymn text to setting so that organists can use the partitas not only for pre-service music, but in alternation to assembly singing in hymn festivals. Tunes included are Afton Water, Bunessan, Llangloffan, Londonderry Air, Rustington.
