Augsburg Fortress

This anthem has the simplest of texts, just the title, but that increases its usefulness. Discipleship, confirmation, ordination, time after Epiphany—those are only a few of the times this piece would be effective. The music by Thomas Keesecker for oboe (or other C instrument) and a cappella choir shows the mastery we have come to expect.
