Palm Sunday can be a challenging day for the musician due to its dual themes of Jesus’ jubilant entry into Jerusalem and the shadowing of his looming trial and death. This anthem, with a text by Janet Pybon and music by Harold Silvester, takes all of that into account. It is dramatic, yet with a haunting quality.
