


James Biery serves as the director of music at the Cathedral of St. Paul in St. Paul, Minnesota. Prior to this role, he was director of music at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford, Connecticut, where he also formed the Hartford Archdiocesan Choir. His organ and choral music has been published by Augsburg Fortress, Morning Star, GIA, and Oregon Catholic Press. In 1996, a CD recording of Biery performing the music of Marcel Dupré was released on the AFKA label. An accomplished recitalist and composer, Biery is respected for his unique artfulness and well-written compositions.
